Tre-le-Champ to La Flégère

The shortest standard stage on the TMB at around 3.5 hours, but don't rush it. You climb through forest to Col de Balme on the Swiss-French border, with the Chamonix valley and Mont Blanc massif spread out below.
La Flégère is a plateau above Les Praz with a refuge and restaurant. The front-on views of Mont Blanc from here are among the best on the circuit.
