Rifugio Bonatti to La Fouly

This is a big day - around 6.5 hours - and one of the high points of the route, literally. You cross from Italy into Switzerland over Grand Col Ferret, with glacier views and a proper sense of altitude before the long descent.
La Fouly is a welcome Swiss village at the bottom. You'll pass La Peule on the way down - a good spot to pause before the final push into town.
